Microgram's 9684 is a very easy to use portable barcode
data collector that is also equally usable as an ordinary
barcode scanner.
While many data collectors on the market need software
to be installed on the PC to operate, the 9684 simply installs itself as a USB HID, (i.e. driverless install),device. Then when plugged in it operates as a standard scanner would, but when unplugged from the PC any barcodes scanned are stored in it's memory.
When reconnected to the PC simply press the upload button and all stored barcodes are output to the screen. Plugging it back into the PC also recharges the 9684's Lithium Ion battery. |
